david barrett - guitar

In 2010, David Barrett founded the David Barrett Trio, an instrumental power trio featuring David Barrett (guitar), Jason Farrar (bass), and Alexander 'Sascha' Tukatsch (drums). Their self titled debut album was produced by Alex Lifeson (Rush), Alan Parsons (Pink Floyd, The Beatles), and Richard Chycki (Rush, Dream Theater).
DB3 has also collaborated with Canadian prog icon Michael Sadler (Saga), and acclaimed singer/songwriter Jacob Moon.
Currently they are working on their second album and live concert DVD.
In addition to DB3, David Barrett produces other guitarists, regularly releases instrumental guitar albums, performs solo acoustic concerts, and hosts the annual Guitar Summit at Ravenswood in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
David is an endorsing artist for innovative companies such as D'Addario/Planet Waves, Pigtronix Futuristic Technology, Mack Boutique Guitar Amplifiers, and Dagmar Customs Guitars.

dale anne brendon - drums

 Dale Anne Brendon grew up in London Ontario Canada. She earned her degree in Music Performance at theUniversity of Western Ontario and spent a year honing drum kit skills at Humber College in Toronto.Her career has always included performing in the two disparate worlds of rock on drum kit and classical music on percussion. 

 Dale Anne plays Classic Rock with the North American touring act Jeans n' Classics and has been a part of countless rock bands in Southwestern Ontario including the recording/touring act POPJOY featuring Sarah Smith, and the Juno-nominated Blues artist Michael Pickett.

Dale Anne's classical percussion experience includes performing with Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Orchestra London Canada to name a few, and that has provided an opportunity for her to play percussion for world-class artists such as Marie Osmond, Roger Hodgson of Supertramp,Harry Belefonte, Mel Torme and more!

 Musical theatre is also a large part of what Dale Anne does, drumming at the Stratford Festival of Canada for productions such as TOMMY and Jesus Christ Superstar (with Des McAnuff of Jersey Boys directing).

Dale Anne is also a dedicated educator and clinician and has performed educational clinics across Canada with the help of the products she endorses: Sabian cymbals, Yamaha drums and Promark drumsticks.

paul shilton - piano

Paul has music-directed and composed for many theatres throughout Ontario including the Drayton Festival, The Lighthouse Festival in Port Dover, Sudbury Theatre Centre and Stage West. He composed the music for Edward the 2nd and an Ideal Husband at the Stratford Festival as well as Dark Lady of the Sonnets, a Stratford/CBC radio co-production recorded live at the Glenn Gould studio. He composed the music for The Hobbit at the Grand Theatre in London. He is a recipient of the Louis Applebaum composition award at the Stratford Festival.

In addition to being the Vocal Ensemble instructor for the Theatre Arts Department at Fanshawe, Paul is the composition coordinator for the Stratford Festival summer music theatre program as well as music teacher at the Stratford Middle Years School.

Paul has always enjoyed playing a variety of styles of music. He has been a member of the Celtic group Shaggy Haggis and currently plays with trumpeter Larry Larson in Larry's Jazz Guys as well as being the music director for his wife, singer Barbara Fulton.

 

tim (smiley) smythe - guitar

A seasoned live and session player in Southwestern Ontario for over twenty years, singer/songwriter/guitarist,“Smiley” has been involved in many musical projects. He can be heard playing guitar on the original releases of “Orion 321”, Doug Peart’s original CD “So I Had a Life”, and toured with local rock band Roxide. A dynamic and soulful guitar player, Tim has also performed with the “Stratford Soul Singers”, “Doug Peart & the Power Project”, and was lead guitarist for “Chris & The New Boys” (currently “The Chris Brine Band”), which has performed at many local festivals including Savour Stratford, countless corporate functions and local alehouses. From time to time, Tim joins forces with Steve Adair’s band “Yeager”. Tim is also lead singer/guitarist in his newly formed band “The Limestone Cowboys”.

Won a Juno Award with the David Bradstreet band in 1977.
